Terms of Service

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms cover your use of FunFuel at funfuel.io and its games, including Word Vault when you play it inside Discord. FunFuel is run by an individual developer in Canada. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use FunFuel. Questions go to hello@funfuel.io.

Using FunFuel

FunFuel is free to play. You can use it for your own personal, non-commercial fun. Please don't:

cheat on the leaderboards or in online games, for example with scripts, bots or by changing the game's code or network requests;
try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or its game server;
copy, resell or republish the games or their content as your own.

Nicknames, names and behaviour

Leaderboard nicknames, lobby names and anything you type or draw in online games must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or impersonate someone else. We may remove names, scores, drawings or results, and block access, if these rules are broken.

Word Vault on Discord

The Word Vault app on Discord runs the same game as funfuel.io. Using it also means following Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
When you finish the daily word, the Word Vault bot posts your display name and coloured grid (never the letters) in the channel where you played. Server moderators can delete these posts, or remove the app at any time.
What we receive from Discord and how we use it is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Scores and accounts

Leaderboards, ranked ladders, streaks and saved progress are provided for fun and may be reset, corrected or removed at any time, for example to fix a bug or remove cheating. Most progress is stored on your own device, so clearing your browser data can erase it.

FunFuel on funfuel.io is supported by ads from Google AdSense, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are not shown inside the Discord app.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove games and features, or take the service offline, at any time. If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

FunFuel is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, FunFuel and its developer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or its games. Some trivia, prices, ratings and colours in the games are approximate and are for entertainment only.
