How to play

Choose Quiz or When Was That?, and pick one or more eras.
In the quiz, pick the right answer from four choices before the clock runs out.
In When Was That?, place each new event before, after or between the ones already on your timeline.
Keep going as long as you can. Your best score is saved.

Ten questions, the same for everyone, new every day. No hints, and its own daily leaderboard.

Four choices per question. 20 seconds at first, falling to 10. Your hint is a 50/50.

Build a timeline of everything from the Big Bang to the iPhone. You have three lives.

In When Was That?, dates appear once a card is placed, so use them to anchor later cards.
Cards start far apart in time and get closer together as you go.
Save your 50/50 for questions where you can't rule anything out.

Which eras are covered?

Ancient history right through to the modern day. Pick all eras or just the ones you like.

Can I use a keyboard?

Yes. Press 1 to 4 to answer quiz questions.

What happens if I place an event wrong?

You lose a life and the card still goes in its true spot.
