  • 2–8 players
  • Online, vs computer or pass and play
  • 6 boards · 7 themes
  • No download

How to play

  1. Pick your statue and roll two dice to move round the board. Doubles roll again.
  2. Land on a city, transport spot or utility and buy it. Anyone who lands there later pays you rent.
  3. Collect a whole colour set to build towers, and trade with any player at the start of your turn.
  4. First to the net worth goal wins, or the richest player when the rounds run out.

Ways to play

On this device

Pass the phone round, mixing people and computer players.

Online

Everyone on their own phone. Make a lobby and share the 4-letter code; computers fill empty seats.

Six boards

World Tour, London, Arizona, California, Canada and New York City: the same game with the places of each one, from Brixton to Mayfair or Yuma to the Grand Canyon.

Your rules

Set the net worth goal ($3,000, $5,000 or $7,000), the number of rounds and the turn timer.

Tips

  • Towers push the rent up, so build on the cities people land on most.
  • One city short of a set? Tap Trade and offer the owner a swap with some cash on top.
  • Keep some cash spare so one unlucky roll doesn't sink you.
  • Short on time? Pick a $3,000 goal and 30 rounds for a quick game.

Questions

How many people can play?

2 to 8 players, on one device or online.

Which boards are there?

World Tour, London, Arizona, California, Canada and New York City. Pick one in the setup, or the host picks it in an online lobby.

Can I play against the computer?

Yes. Add computer players on this device, or let them fill empty seats online.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Rent Rush runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers.

Are Quick Play lobbies real players?

Quick Play matches you with real players first. When there aren't enough people online to fill a lobby, the empty seats are filled by computer players with their own names and looks, so you never wait long. Computer players don't count toward leaderboards, online wins or badges. To play only with friends, make your own lobby and share the code.
